Hiawatha, IA (Sept. 15, 2020) – CEC, Communications Engineering Company, a nationally recognized technology solutions provider and systems integrator in the Midwest, is excited to announce an Open House celebration of their new location. Customers, friends and technology decision-makers in Davenport and surrounding areas are invited to attend. Local CEC experts will demonstrate technologies that solve top-of-mind issues including hybrid learning environments, connectivity that solves the digital divide, maintaining corporate culture in a Work From Home (WFH) world and patient communication during COVID-19 and beyond.
To support CEC’s continued growth in Eastern Iowa, the company moved to a new Davenport location at 5000 Tremont Avenue, Building 100, Suite 102 in September. Now CEC is ready to open its doors to share the new space and connect with members of the Davenport community. The event encourages current, new, and prospective customers, as well as those interested in career opportunities with the organization, to meet the CEC team.
Open House visitors are invited to participate in a ribbon cutting and events including:
- State-of-the-art technology demonstrations
- Meet CEO Kim Lehrman and employees from Eastern Iowa
- The opportunity to interact with CEC’s HR team to learn about open positions
- Octoberfest-themed food/beverages and drawings for prizes
The Open House will be hosted in-person from 2:30pm to 5:30pm on Thursday, October 1, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3:00pm. In accordance with CDC guidelines, CEC will provide face masks, temperature checks and hand sanitizer to visitors and will practice social distancing throughout the event.
