Customer Newsletter

Dear Valued Customer,

Every organization should spend time thinking about its vision, mission and values. These statements can lay the foundation for everything else that happens within the organization, including company culture, customer experience, and positioning in the marketplace.

We recently took a step back to re-evaluate our vision, mission, and value statements to ensure we're aligned with you and your goals. These changes will help ensure that we remain your trusted technology partner and deliver the best solutions to you in all stages of the customer process: sales, system design, project management and implementation, training, service, and accounting.  These changes reflect our organization's commitment to our customers and our employees.

  • Vision: To be the premier and most trusted technology solution provider in the industry
  • Mission: To deliver the best solutions to our clients
  • Values: Integrity, passion, customer focus, continuous improvement, and results

Your feedback is important to us, and is monitored by our teams. Please take time to complete our surveys or offer feedback to your sales executives or project teams about your experiences with CEC so we can make sure we're living up to our new vision, mission, and values.

BTC Keynote Announced for 2015

We’re excited to announce that Jesus Villahermosa of Crisis Reality Training will keynote CEC’s 9th annual Business Technology Conference Iowa on Oct. 13, and CEC’s 2nd annual Business Technology Conference Wisconsin on Oct. 28. As a former SWAT Team member, Villahermosa has taught hundreds of organizations how to prepare for and react to workplace violence – and has lived through thousands of crisis situations himself. He’ll map out strategies you can follow to make sure you’re not part of the $55 million in annual lost wages due to workplace violence.

Indoor Fire Simulation Training Now Available from CEC

New fire simulation technology, combined with in-person training from CEC’s experienced extinguisher professionals, brings fire safety training straight to your workplace – without live fire in open outdoor areas. The training provides a solid understanding of how a fire works, what types of extinguishers should be used (and when), and how to safely, effectively use portable extinguishers.

Project Profile: Berlin Memorial Hospital

Berlin Memorial Hospital and CEC worked together to establish a surveillance system that reduced shoplifting in cafeteria and gift shop areas, improved monitoring capabilities for helicopter pads, and increased comfort levels for ER staff.

Important Biamp Product Discontinuation Notice

If your organization uses Biamp’s family of digital signal processor products, please note that the following four products will be discontinued on Dec. 31: MCA 8050 amplifier, MCA 8150 amplifier, MPA 250 amplifier, and RP-L1. If you have any questions, or planned to purchase one of these products after Dec. 31, 2015, please contact us. We’ll help you find a viable replacement solution.

Windows Server 2003 Support Ended

Now that Windows Server 2003’s extended support has ended, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates for any version of the program. If you need help creating a migration strategy to implement a new solution and protect your data center, let one of CEC’s IT experts know. We’ll help you find a new server operating system that can improve performance, reduce maintenance, and increase speed.
