Matt has been with CEC since 1983, and has held key roles in operations and management. Matt drives CEC’s focus on efficiency, continuous improvement, and quality customer service. Starting out as a technician, Matt was named CEC president in 2006, and CEO in 2012. He has educated members of the systems integration industry by serving as a speaker and instructor for national organizations, including NSCA (National Systems Contractors Association), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Iowa Telecommunications User Group (ITUG), the Iowa Technology and Education Connection (ITEC), and the Electronic Security Association (ESA). Matt is a member of InfoComm, the Iowa Association of Business and Industry, and NSCA. He also serves on Ascom’s Business Development Council.
Since joining CEC in 1982, Randy has held positions in field operations, service, sales, management, and engineering. He currently serves as CEC’s vice president of operations. In this role, he manages CEC’s engineering services, including technical design, consultation, and quotations. Randy is a member of ASIS International, has served on several technology advisory committees, and has degrees in engineering technology and management development.
Kelley joined CEC in January 2017 as the vice president of finance to strategically lead CEC’s financial management. Kelley is a CPA with a BBA in Accounting from Boise State University and a BBA in Finance & Spanish from University of Iowa. Formerly Kelley was the business analysis manager in financial control at HSBC in Chicago, where she is originally from. Prior to CEC, she was the chief financial officer at Orchestra Iowa & Paramount Presents in downtown Cedar Rapids. She has held several positions on the Board of the Cedar Valley Montessori School since the Floods of 2008.
Shereen’s journey with CEC started in 2014, launching CEC’s training department. Shereen leads CEC’s People and Organizational Excellence (POE) department, leading the company's people strategy to support our overall strategic direction. Shereen leads CEC’s HR department, training and onboarding functions, and continuous improvement and processes.
In 2019, she added operations to her list of responsibilities, working with Vice President of Operations Randy Montelius and CEC's general managers to improve standardization, measurements, and optimization. She holds a bachelor of education, masters of educational learning and administration, and is completing an MBA.
When he joined CEC’s team in 2019, Tyler brought with him more than 15 years of sales, process improvement, technology, and team development experience. His expertise helps CEC support its customers, sales teams, and technology suites. Tyler excels at creating streamlined processes that improve customer experiences and help our talented sales experts find answers to challenging productivity, safety, and communications questions. As the vice president of sales and marketing, Tyler ensures that CEC customers get the innovative, profitable solutions they need.
